I have been so behind :(

These pictures were taken at the palace of China's last emperor, Puyi, also known as the Puppet Emperor as he was controlled by the Japanese. This is the AMAZING waterfall that was in the garden next to one of the houses.

A room of Puyi's that he never used. I forget the reason (the guide was hard to understand and there was so many people there with us.
The outside view of Puyi's main house.
Buddha worshiping room. It was very beautiful.

Bucket list!! I went to the garden outside of the palace (which is basically a full sized garden).

Bomb shelters

This was right across the steet from our hotel!!

This broke my heart. These little special needs babies lay around all day until they cry. Then they get held for feeding and until the stop crying.

More bucket list!! Siping literally means "four" "peaceful." Translated it means "peaceful in four directions" or it is peaceful everywhere.

So this is Day 3-8. Province, meeting some families, going shopping, eating KFC and a sit down, nice restaurant Pizza Hut!
Our van broke down on the way to to the hotel the first day. :P But we got to the hotel, got pictures taken, Susi didn't cry when I stayed with her... It was all a good time. I got a ton of mosquito bites :P But the trip to Siping was AMAZING. Best day of the trip. We got to see Susi's orphanage, the hospital where she was abandoned, and the center where she stayed at after her surgeries. We got about 100 new pics of her from when she was in the center!! That was amazing. And I aparently didn't tell our guide that I know some Chinese, so when the guy in the shop said Meigou, and I asked if he had asked if we were Americans, she was very surprised. I was proud of my self!!

More pictures of Days 1-2

This was the Terra Cotta Warrior replica that I was completely in love with!! Haha, I had to put my glasses on him :D

Dude. We played so much Banana Grams. I learned new English words!! Not very many Chinese ones though...
Stevie (if I am remebering his name) was Shepherd's Field's dog. So cute!! (Not nearly as cute as the kids though...duh)

Ok. All food here is served with heads, feet, and tails still on so you know it is fresh. This is an example of duck. Isn't he cute??

More pics of playing frisbee with Adrian and Luke!! They are so cute!! I want to take Luke home so bad!!

This is Luke! He is adorable!!

Bucket List started!!

So I got some things from my bucket list done. :)))) I ate a moon cake! It was so good. I think it had strawberry filling, but I am not sure. I dcided not to ask, so I could just enjoy. I also took a taxi ride to Walmart, where I bought the moon cake. Yum.
The three words I learned:
Fangpi-fart (Yeahhhhh....)
Yumi-corn (leanred that from Adrian and Luke!)
Qi shui- soda (literally bubble water. This is like club soda. They call soda pop cola.)

Days 1-2

Ahhhh, day 1. After the long plane ride and layovers, we got Susi!! She screamed for a while, but painting her nails and putting on lip gloss finally calmed her down. She is such a girly-girl!And suckers. I am afraid the big bag of dum-dums will run out! :) Now, on day 3, she is quietly sitting on the bed, playing with Graci. AND, Sara (the person who brought her to us and helped take care of her), mommy, and daddy are all not here! Answer to prayer. She has finally adjusted. :D

My mum and I visited the houses at Shepherd's Field on day 2. All the kids were absolutly ADORABLE and all wanted to be held. Ripped my heart out when they cried after we left. :'(

This is Melanie. I am pretty sure she is going to be adopted very soon! She is so cute and a miracle. As you can see, she has no limbs, but still scoots, crawls, rolls, picks things up, and plays with her toys. I can just tell God Has big plans for her!

Oh my goodness, Mia is so cute!!
Susi is a pretty amazing colorer. She is better than most kids I have seen!
First bath!! Susi loves it when you spray her with water. BIG laugh!!
I don't know his name, but CUTIE!!! He kept posing. :D

Luke and Adrian, such cuties!! I have to say some of my favorites! Adrian is being adopted soon, but I kind of want to go back for Luke. Let's see what God says... ;)

I had a TON of fun playing Banana Grams and Taboo with the interns at Shepherd's Field. I also have to say the cookie crumbs that were made were DELICIOUS!! :P Yummy. Susi eats SO much, but she is so cute! She is quiet and just stares at you. But she is so ticklish! It is so cute.

That is up to day 2, and today (day 3) we traveled to province. More pics to come!!
